Amazing, as always!
I strongly suggest the audio/video guide and select "the best 50 masterpieces" (most of them are Italian!). It's a great 3 hours (more or less) tour.
And instead of doing the long queue at the main entrance, you can get in (if you have the online reservation) from the underground entrance, passing through the shopping center The Carousel.

We spent the afternoon at the Louvre exploring and wish that we had more time. I under estimated the size/time needed to see everything. It was a busy day when we went on Saturday, but we hit the highlights seeing the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. Even with the Skip the Line passes, we had to wait in que about 25 minutes so make sure you purchase your tickets in advance if you can! Those that didn't have tickets had to wait even longer. I would highly suggest getting the audio guides or booking a private tour to ensure you get the stories/explanation of the art you are seeing.

Get ticket for 9 AM Monday morning if possible, be in line by 8:45 at latest. Most people's complaints were that main attractions were too crowded; by doing this and skipping audio guides, we went straight for the Mona Lisa and there were only ~50 people when we got there.
